What is prefabricated steel structure building?
Steel structure building is built over three members connected to each other by bolts and screws:
Primary members (columns, beams)
Steel columns will be H section steel, square tube steel according to different type of buildings. Steel beams are usually H section steel.
Secondary members (C or Z purlins, bracing...)
Roof and wall sheeting or sandwich panel (EPS, fiberglass wool, PU sandwich panel)
Other building components (Rolling doors, aluminium windows, etc.)
The entire primary members and secondary members are designed and fully fabricated including cut-to-length, punching, drilling, welding and performing in the factory before shipping to the site for erection.
At the site, all components are assembled and jointed via nut & bolt connections; thereby reducing the costs and assembly times.
These buildings can be provided with different structural and non-structural additions such as ventilators, doors & windows, trusses, mezzanine floors, canopies, crane, insulation…, based on the customer's requirements.

Factors affecting the price of steel structure building:
1. Steel raw material price
Fluctuations of steel raw material price have impact on the price of steel structure building. The big change in steel price will directly cause the overall price of steel structure building to change.
2. Load
Load includes wind load, snow load, dead load, and live load. The engineers calculate the steel structure Qty. based on the load. Large load, more steel structure will be used.
3. The span of the steel frame
Usually, the span of steel frame will controlled in 36m. The larger of the span, the greater the amount of steel structure per square meter. If the steel frame has a large span and no center pillar, the amount of steel used will increase.
4. Structure
If the building has glass curtain wall, crane or mezzanine floor, canopy, etc., to ensure the safe, steel structure will be increased.

The load bearing parts for construction steel structure are mainly steel columns, steel beams, steel structural basements, bracing systems for wall and roof. Steel workshops are divided into Light Steel Workshops and Heavy Steel Workshops. The Main Structure are usually made of Q345 Steel while the Purlins and Bracing System are made of Q235 Steel. They are the most common steel materials used for steel structure in China.
Main Structure
(Steel tube truss system ) we adopt hot-dip galvanized C section or steel tube truss beam to reduce self-weight of design load and dosage of the steel. At the same time, hot-dipped galvanized can widely improve anti-corrosion of the steel. (The construction cycle of the steel structure work is short, which reduces the cost of the project effectively. The steel structure has strong shock resistance and can improve the comprehensive anti-seismic property of the whole house).
Substructure( Cold-formed thin-walled steel)
Roof purlin uses the hot-dip galvanized Z or C section. The way to continuous lap makes the steel frame as a whole. Wall purlin uses the hot-dip galvanized C section steel. All components adopt bolted connection, no welding, which makes the structure overall appearance smooth.
